Hong Kong, October 7, 2008 – For the fourth consecutive year, Baker & McKenzie has received the Client’s Choice Award for best law firm in China from International Law Office (ILO). The Firm also has received awards for best law firm in Thailand and Poland. Since the award’s inception in 2005, Baker & McKenzie has been the only law firm to win in multiple jurisdictions.
Baker & McKenzie’s China offices include more than 200 lawyers in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai. The Firm was praised for the its “amazing work” and ability to provide “legal and practical” advice in this region.
This year's winners were chosen from more than 1,500 individual assessments received from corporate counsel worldwide. The ILO Client Choice Awards recognize law firms around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service. The criteria for the awards focus on law firms' ability to add real value to their clients' business above and beyond the other players in the market.
