Jan Cerfontaine Becomes Chairman of Argenta
Brussels, 20 August, 2008 – Baker & McKenzie announced today that Jan Cerfontaine will end his tenure with the Firm to become the Chairman of Argenta.
As an accomplished corporate and banking and finance lawyer, Jan Cerfontaine has been a Partner with Baker & McKenzie in Antwerp since 2002. Being offered the possibility to take an active role at the head of Argenta, he will be leaving the Firm as of 1 September 2008. “This position represents for me an incredible opportunity although I will definitely regret the highly professional environment & friendly atmosphere prevailing at Baker & McKenzie. I am confident we shall maintain a close relationship”, said Jan Cerfontaine.
