- Administrative/public law and regulatory disputes - We represent private companies, government institutions, and non-government organizations in regulatory disputes involving administrative and public law matters, including regulations on building, planning and zoning; foreign trade; environment; pharmaceuticals; telecommunications; and public-private partnerships.
- Antitrust and competition litigation – We represent clients in antitrust/competition litigation, whether civil or criminal, including class actions and government prosecutions. We defend companies and executives in government criminal cartel investigations, as well as in third-party damage suits and other follow-on private litigation.

- Investigations and business crimes - We have built a reputation of successfully counseling and defending businesses that fall under the government's scrutiny. Our investigations team includes one of the largest contingents of former US Department of Justice prosecutors, state prosecutors and SEC, and other regulators. We have extensive experience assisting companies in conducting independent corporate investigations, representing corporations, officers and directors in criminal investigations and prosecutions, and advising on SEC disclosure, self-reporting, corporate governance and internal controls issues. Our lawyers also defend class actions and other suits that often follow criminal allegations.
- Customs litigation- We assist in ironing out customs litigation, particularly with regard to clarification of and compliance with applicable tariffs and duties.

- Labor and employment litigation - We defend or prosecute claims of wrongful discharge, discrimination, harassment, unfair employment practices, and “whistle-blower” actions. We also represent clients in the prosecution or defense of labor or union-related issues such as grievance arbitrations or any type of adversarial proceeding including litigation that involves multiple plaintiffs.
- Product liability and product recalls - We represent consumers, manufacturers and sellers in product liability suits and product recall actions.
- Securities enforcement and litigation – We advise public companies on insider-trading prevention programs, reporting and other disclosure issues, codes of conduct and overall compliance with state securities law. We have represented clients in disputes involving actions taken by government agencies or other self-regulatory organizations.
- Shipping/maritime litigation - We represent ship owners, marine terminal operators, cruise lines and their insurers involved in shipping/maritime litigation in collisions, groundings, salvage and regulatory issues including admiralty, carriage of goods by sea, commercial contacts/chartering, national and international marine regulations, shipbuilding conversion and repair.
